Morning song delights.
It’s been a very busy stretch recently, and I have made a lot of compromises between desires and commitments. I have worked hard to get at least a bit of exercise each days. These early spring mornings, it’s a delight to be out and about, whether walking, running or biking. The birds are back, busy and the inspiration for today’s haiku.
For yesterday’s ragtag daily prompt of busy and today’s prompt of compromise.
My birds are busy nesting these days. They come out, grab a seed, and fly home. Sometimes, they do this continuously all day. Happy morning!

Happy morning, to you as well, Marilyn. The birds appreciate your seeds.

Meadowlarks sang to me on my walk this afternoon. I might be able to accept this spring/summer thing.

One of my favorite parts of being out and about this time of year. Warmer, yes, but the exuberance of the birds is a delight.
