Peeee-uuu what a stench
Ashes to ashes dust to . . . .
Rotten smells enroute
The photo (from Pixabay, thank you) is of corpse flower, Amorphophallus titanium, so named because of its putrescent (like rotting flesh) scent. Talk about a terrible beauty.
For today’s Ragtag Daily Prompt of Putrescent. Good one, Tracy!
At the risk of asking a silly question, why would you grow them?

I wouldn’t. Botanical garden has them, probably because of people s fascination with the bizarre

Thanks for the reminder about the flower, Steph. It must be a truly remarkable stench.

I’ve never actually smelled one. They bloom for a very short time. Long lines at the botanical gardens when in bloom

Bet those lines move fast though, Steph. 🙂
