Snowstorm then hard freeze
A leaf blizzard to follow
Crunchy drifts abound.
For today’s Ragtag Daily Prompt of Blizzard
After last weekend’s snowstorm, it has once again warmed up. I scuffed through a lot of fallen leaves on my run this morning, and was greeted by these views at the lake just after sunrise.Ā
So beautiful.

Thank you. The unexpected gift of my I-phone. A good enough camera that fits in my pocket.

What beauty! To live by water and see the changing seasons in it each day would be a dream fulfilled. We are in Spain, and the Mediterranean Sea is different every day. I wake every morning, asking what does the sea look like today? Would love to live here, except that I am stared at a lot, but maybe that would end if they saw me every day. Wonderful post.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I don’t make it up to this tiny little lake (.9 miles around) everyday, but often enough. And it is lovely to see and connect to the changes. Spain sounds lovely, and being stared at, not so lovely. I’ve had a similar experiences traveling with blue eyes. Outside the common draws stares. Enjoy the sea–still on my list of places to get to.

We’ve had a couple of snowstorms in September and October. Totally ruins the leaves and usually disappears pretty quickly. I’m simply NOT ready to face winter yet. I don’t know what happened to summer because wasn’t that just the other day?

I’m pretty sure Y2K was just last year, so summer must still be here!
