Spring’s got it this year. The blooming trees are glorious, as are the bulbs and early plants. The other morning, as I was heading out early on my bike, the air was still. Every few feet, I experienced a different scent–each tree in bloom was making its own distinct contribution, and without wind or automobile traffic, I rode through this magical alley of aromas.
Today, the scents are there as well, and a little breeze, but what struck me as I headed down my driveway to get the paper was the color. White apple, pink crabapple, lilac lilacs, and fuchsia bleeding hearts, on a background of green grass, grape hyacinths, yellow and white daffodils, and red tulips. All available as I pivoted in a circle.
For your enjoyment, I present today’s flaunting of the colors:
It is always nice to know others appreciate this profusion. I love May’s generosity!

They are. I first saw them as a college student and it was hard to believe they were real

I felt the exact same way in my neck of the woods today! The spring explosion never ceases to amaze me year after year! Loved the pics too! Loved the part about all the floral colors on the backdrop of green grass.. so nice! I said something so similar to my daughter today! #naruresbeauty
